Terms & SMS Messaging Terms

These terms apply to your use of sgmblackcar.com and to the text-message program of SGM Transportation Services LLC ("SGM", "we", "us"). By requesting a quote or booking a ride you agree to them.

SMS messaging program

• Program: SGM Transportation Services LLC ride notifications.
• What we send: transactional messages about your trip only, such as quote and ride updates, approval notices and payment links. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
• How you opt in: by checking the optional, unchecked text-message box on the quote form at sgmblackcar.com and submitting your phone number. Consent is not a condition of purchase; you can request a ride without agreeing to texts.
• Message frequency: varies with your trip activity, typically a few messages per trip.
• Costs: message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further texts.
• Help: reply HELP, call +1 (919) 601-7311 or email admin@sgmblackcar.com.
• Carriers: carriers and SGM are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available for US mobile numbers only.
• Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. Mobile information is not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Estimates and bookings

Quotes on the website are estimates based on the route, time and details you provide. A ride is confirmed only after we approve it and any required payment is completed. Changes to the pickup, drop-off, timing or waiting time may change the price.

Payment

Payments are processed by Square through a payment link we send you. A declined or unfinished payment does not complete your reservation.

Riders and conduct

You agree to provide accurate information and to treat the driver and vehicle with respect. We may refuse or end service for unsafe or unlawful conduct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGM is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for delays caused by traffic, weather, flight changes or other events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
